About

I recently started Bowling at my local Club and was told I was a natural. Not having a Bowler in the Family, I told my Mum, and she said…

“My Grampy Flowers was a Champion Bowler. He played for Wellingborough. I used to watch him play on my way home from School.”

As a Coach, part of my job took me into Schools to introduce Cricket. Some of these students became valued adult members of a local club. This plan of positive action was implemented many years ago as “The School Club Link.”

It was very successful. It changed a Club from, struggling to field one team, to having more members than it could cope with. Does something like this exist with Bowls? If not, it should do.
