Chris P Spry from CPS SCOREBOARDS has a background in engineering. He started playing bowls in 2024. He noticed that of all the scoreboards available, not one had a carry handle. His new design has a UK REGISTERED DESIGN NO: 6396511 issued to him from the patent office in 2024. He was asked if he could design numbers that were easier to use, especially when wearing a glove. His new design has a UK REGISTERED DESIGN NO: 6434560 issued to him from the patent office in 2025.
